    What have passwords got to do with cookies?

    Opting for 'remember me' when logging into sites uses persistent session cookies that allow your behaviour to be tracked over a long time.

    ✅️ Use a password manager to log-in quickly each time.

      @openrightsgroup

      Um, if you're logging in they can associate all your sessions and track you just the same.

        @openrightsgroup Use a password manager & have the browser deleted everything, including cookies, history, cache etc... on exit
