Sony A7R III, 400mm, 1/500s, f/5.6, iso 1600@moiety Lovely! The upright alert posture reminds me of our Green-backed Tit in the Himalayas (we do not have Blue Tit here). The pink lichen is also very striking.
What's the glyph before the "Z" in your signature?

Sony A7R III, 400mm, 1/500s, f/5.6, iso 5000birds flying away from you generally don’t make v nice photos, and this is no exception, but i did enjoy seeing the water droplets jump off the bird’s back. plus seeing a bird take off from the water never gets old.

Sony A7R III, 400mm, 1/1000s, f/5.6, iso 6400highlight of today’s bird outing must surely be this gorgeous kingfisher. i was hurrying home at this point so i didn’t get as much time as i wanted, but a local birder told me it perches here more often. so i’ll check back on some other days for some more shots.
