@anderseknert If I was a maintainer of matplotlib, getting harrassed by an AI on the very site i host my repo on would be the final straw for moving to another site *immediately*.

Yeah, also not sure I understand the motivation behind that whole ordeal. I’m one of those people that prefer to have some sort of practical purpose for burning resources…

@anderseknert Yet another reason it is bad that GitHub is owned by a company with a huge stake in the AI Hype. Otherwise these "Agent" Accounts would Just be deleted immediatly. They create zero value and only cause pain for the Community.
