      You where all thinking it. And the answer is 'yes!'. Yes you can totally LASER engrave a banana to exfiltrate data from your secured premises. Just out of the machine the text is barely noticable. But the next morning? Clear as day.

      @yschaeff works with a knitting needle as engraving tool too and wouldn't burn the peel

                    @yschaeff
                    additional details for the image description:
                    First photo:

                    nothing looks out of the ordinary on this banana. Only when you look closer, you see a faint outline of letters.

                    Second photo:

                    the banana now clearly shows brown outlines for the engraved letters, spelling "Ananas"

                        @yschaeff We have Xtool's laser at work. I tried to find a picture but couldn't of when we took a piece of toast and burned the company logo on it.

                              @yschaeff now find out how much data you can store on a banana peel and still recover later.

                                @Aknorals Actually, that was the first thing we tried. At some point we where able to scan it. But it 'expired'. 😉

                                  @aamurusko79 This was done on an xtool as well. Not mine sadly, I don't think its in the price range I'm willing to pay for it. But so far it seems to be a really nice machine.
