            All other countries should make it illegal to give this information about family members without signed permission slips.

            Nobody in my family would dream of going to the US, probably ever again, but I certainly wouldn't want them giving this information about me to fascists.

            Especially those who are threatening annexation.

              @orci I went to a con last year where we usually have a good 10-15 folks from Canada (keep in mind the convention is maybe 100-150 people). We had 1. And they only felt safe because customs was completed in Toronto, so if there was a problem they could just not get on the flight.

                  @orci Everyone should stay away I’d say.

                  But as a side note, I think it’s imperative that we get some future candidates constantly talking about these things. The time when you got a few governors and senators to choose from for your party a few months before is over.

                  People don’t care about parties, and they know people from social media.

                    @orci In time to mess up tourism for the World Cup and the Summer Olympics, too. Who would come want to come to the US with this data collection going on?
