Me: Oooh, I haven't done a Myfanwy & Friend for a while. That would be a nice change. I could put the call out on Mastodon for suggested artworks, book covers or posters to parody.
Also me: I need to post a picture if I'm asking for suggestions for pictures.
I am aware this makes NO SENSE, however when I had a quick look for new films I found this monstrosity so, that's a thing.

I'm a little late to the party with this but just had a terrific time perusing the hashtag. If I might be so bold (and apologies if you've already done), I'm quite fond of cheery Swiss painter Arnold Böcklin. Particularly 'Self-Portrait with Death Playing the Fiddle', or perhaps 'Plague'? Or...perhaps marginally less insane, something by Gustav Klimt?

Brain is stubbornly refusing to come up with any good suggestions tonight, but I'm looking forward to seeing more Myfanwy and Friend.
