My Guilty Pleasure (TM) is reading advice columns. Any advice (lol) on where to satisfy this desire that isn't the Washington Post?

@APBBlue Slate is like 60% advice columns by volume these days. Definitely a place to look, if that is what you are looking for

@APBBlue If you haven't seen this, this piece on someone who kept writing fake letters is something:

@APBBlue (I have a sneaking fondness for advice columns myself, even though the vast majority of inquiries could be answered with "just learn to say no to people")

@APBBlue have you read Tiny Beautiful Things? It's collected letters and responses from Cheryl Strayed's advice column. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

@APBBlue I thoroughly enjoy the no nonsense Carolyn Hac and Miss Manners. I search for and find non paywall sites for them. Refuse to pay for the Post. Dumped them for good unless there’s a change of ownership and courage and professional commitment to sanity and the accuracy.

I finally learned how to say no to people when I was a couchsurfing host! Nearly all of my experiences were delightful, but a few folks had pretty bizarre requests when they were asking to stay with someone for free.
