    @HayiWena @kimu @meganL i'm coming from the premise that trek has always been wildly over priced. all the frames and components for all bicycles come from china. from the same 3 factories. unless things have changed, trek is getting their parts from the same places other bike brands are that charge half what trek does. if trek has a manufacturing facility (making their own frames and groupsets) in the u.s. they're not "American made" they're American assembled.

    @ascentale @cainmark @bikenite A1: from my usual spot in the Hudson Valley, where the weather is on a roller coaster. One morning it was 25˚, a few days later it was 87˚, and now we’re headed back down to a mid-week night below freezing. It’s hard to figure out what to wear. If a route is closed I just wing it, heading in the general direction of where I need to go.
