So in some good news I have got an appointment at the apple store here in Brussels now tomorrow and it happens to be after the morning set of talks I wanted to go and see and it isn't too far from the venue (Well it's where I change from Metro to Tram anyway). I'm not holding my breath that they will have repair stock available as the apple watches have to be replaced when they fail and it's the Series 8 from 2022 so I'm not exactly confident they will have them there but I hope to be proven wrong as I really don't want to loose out on step tracking and all the other stuff for too long.

@tiggy Very true, I can't say as Uber is something I like to use and tend to avoid it where I can as it tends to always be a disaster. I think my semi-angry original toot puts more blame on the trains than Uber which isn't actually how I see things, I'm just irritated that GWR also made things difficult and couldn't sort out a new ticket easily / refund / anything. Once I get to my hotel I'll be contacting Uber to "Suggest" they owe me the £60 ticket after turning up very late compared to what I'd booked. I suspect I'll be told exactly where I can shove that but at least it'll make me feel a tiny bit better about paying £60 for a standard class ticket compared to the £78 I'd paid for two first class tickets originally.
