@sophiekaz welcome! I did the same in mid 2024, have been very happy here, and hope you will be too.I got rid of facebook, instagram, twitter, and google and my life became simpler, more private, and better overall.
@helpsterTee Is there supposed to be one? The only way I ever noticed my peers migrating was that I got a notif that they followed me from a different account and nothing more. But I never migrated before and never paid attention to when someone in my list did beyond that.
@NikaShilobod welcome (back)! I have not done archaeology professionally in almost 20 years. That said, I've kept experimental archaeology as a hobby, along with the crafting skills that it requires.
@rikuylonen well, they can all be learned on YouTube and doesn't require anyone to hear my voice They are also only creative in the way where I don't have to be creative (as in making stuff up on my own, which I am not very good at), but can just remake what others have done before and copy them. Otherwise it is just what I come across that inspires me to try it out for myself.
