I'll be sad to see it go, but I'd rather have it go to someone who can fix it, use it, and enjoy it than keep it sitting in the closet.I still remember the day they brought it home. I had learned BASIC on an Altair 8800 that my high school computer club had built in 1976, the year before I got there, but being able to do it at home changed everything.

UPDATE: Oh wow. So I was right to be suspicious of the "the protesters have given up," but the SF Gate got it wrong because the protesters' car was broken into and a bunch of their equipment was stolen.
