@MarkusDEL @rainer @reeeen I probably wrote the previous post incorrectly… I would recommend switching to self-hosted or decentralized solutions. As a developer I have many of my own setups — I run servers and several PCs. Windows isn’t a great tool; I’ve used Linux for about 13–15 years and it gets better every year. I’m one of those people who value decentralization — I hate any systems that track you, which is why I joined Mastodon, set up an instance, and am now working on a mobile client. So the right solution for you may be different: I’m a programmer with experience and habits that shape my choices, and yours might be completely different.
