Hey, folks. I hate doing this, but my family and I need help with money for food & gas. This is unfortunately going to be a regular request until I can get a new job. (See my pinned posts for my resume.)
We average about $35/day for food (2 adults, 2 kids) and $10/day for gas, if we are being cheap. Dog food is $22/week. So we need around $335-$340 to make it through the week, making sure everyone is fed and gets to school. Any help, however small, is deeply appreciated.

Would anyone be able to help us with dinner? We have literally $2.
I am trying to sort out how to get paid w/ the new job, but I am completely new to the nuances of contract work and the paperwork involved. I got some instructions and advice with it, and can probably at least get the process started before I call it a night, but there's no way we'll have it in time for dinner. (It's already almost 8pm!)

Great news!!! I'll be getting paid for the first time tomorrow. (Boss is awesome and let me bill up front since he knows the financial situation.)
For today: We need to buy dinner and pet food, but we only have $2.
Assuming the first direct deposit goes through smoothly tomorrow, this might be the last time I have to ask!
