NASA announced plans last month to build a nuclear reactor on the Moon. This, of course, led to a lot of questions. How much would it cost? Will workers need to stay up there to monitor it? And for all the doom-mongers out there, what would happen if it fails? @sciencefocus takes a crack at it:
