On the rails again… #Interrail #CrossBorderRail
Today I'm going for a marathon travel day from Barcelona to West London.
I’m doing my usual morning AVE jaunt to Lyon, a station I far prefer over doing a cross-Paris transfer, and then I'll do the "avoid Paris" route of taking a TGV to Lille Flandres, where I'll grab some supper before heading over to Lille Europe for a trip under the English Channel. If this itinerary is kept to, I’ll be getting to London St. Pancras International at 21:57 GMT. Finally I'll grab some late London trains to get to my destination, where I will likely arrive by 23:30 GMT. All in all a 16 and a quarter hour day.
Don’t worry too much: Wendy the DBJUNGLESKOG will be with me, to keep me sane through it.
