We just accomplished something I wasn't sure was possible, because we've failed at it twice before. We had someone in our household catch COVID, and kept it isolated to that 1 person. #CovidIsNotOver

Our kids wear N95s at school, the only ones in the whole school, but have to eat lunch in school, so there's daily exposure. We also do losenges and nose spray, vaccines, and they get sick way less often than any other kid. Our youngest caught COVID, we isolated them when symptoms started. 1/

@Kellyshenanigans It is so hard to have kids in school when most school systems do not provide good ventilation, nobody else wants to mask due to peer pressure, and kids show up sick. Your safe practices are laudable, especially your kids wearing N95 masks. I’m so sorry your kid got covid from school despite masking most of the time. Hope they recovered w/o sequelae. Glad everyone remained negative.
