    We are very well aware of the fact that X for Grok is now offering a spicy mode showing explicit sexual content with some output generated with childlike images:

    ๐Ÿ“Œ A detailed request for information on Grok has been sent to X, and we are reviewing the companyโ€™s responses.

    ๐Ÿ“Œ X has been ordered to retain all internal documents and data concerning Grokโ€™s features until the end of 2026.

    The Digital Services Act is very clear:

    In the EU, all platforms have to get their own house in order.

    @EUCommission

    Child Porn. They produce and distribute child porn. And with the "limitation to paying costumers", they make the production and distribution a premium service.
    Grok produces and sells child porn.

      @toxy @EUCommission to be fair (possibly too fair) that is what X.com is calling it. But yeah maybe adding a [sic] or something would be a good idea

      @JessFairbairn In good journalism/PR, you are obliged to show if it is a quote! It's quite easy for the Commission's team by editing their post with " "! @toxy @EUCommission

        @EUCommission Leave the platform. You're otherwise complicit and helping sustain and legitimatize X.

        This is intolerable.

        For shame, have some.

          "now offering a spicy mode"

          "a spicy mode"

          Is that what you're calling non-consensual adult and child pornography now?

          "spicy"

          Wow

          Don't be too harsh now

          Wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of any porn enjoyers, would you now?

          That is what it is called by Grok-Imagine. If the spokesperson changes the name how is anybody supposed to know what he's referring to. Sure the quote could have been made clearer in the text but it is more obvious if the video clip is viewed rather than jumping to incorrect conclusions.

                @EUCommission
                The EC itself as well its commissioners remain on X. The same holds true for plenty of other institutions, bodies, and agencies of the European Union.

                Posting here about 'spicy mode' displays extremely poor judgement.

                Please read the room. People are livid, and even for the most ardent believers in the EU project, the lack of a moral backbone on display is extremely hard to swallow.

                  1. Given what it creates, please set "spicy mode" in quotation marks, instead of adopting the marketing terminology of X. Unless, of course, you believe that synthetic #CSAM is just another type of "spicy content".

                  2. As of now, your account @EU_commission on X (which should no longer exist) did not post this text.

                            So now we're quoting Grok from X directly and calling that a good thing?

                                      We are very well aware of the fact that X for Grok is now offering a spicy mode showing explicit sexual content with some output generated with childlike images:

                                      ๐Ÿ“Œ A detailed request for information on Grok has been sent to X, and we are reviewing the companyโ€™s responses.

                                      ๐Ÿ“Œ X has been ordered to retain all internal documents and data concerning Grokโ€™s features until the end of 2026.

                                      The Digital Services Act is very clear:

                                      In the EU, all platforms have to get their own house in order.

                                      @EUCommission You should invite all the EU politicians to join your instance to start a transition.

                                        @katzenberger thanks, for that, i am not a native speaker. so the @EUCommission has an account on a platform that distributed child sexual abuse material. that sounds even more gross. cheers.

                                          @EUCommission Since Musk restricted this feature to paying customers instead of removing it, it is apparent that X is now a platform for producing and distributing child pornography and should be treated as such.
