AFAIK IP over avian carrier (IPoAC) has been a standard since 1990. See
RFC 2549 (1999), it has been implemented in 2001. Afaics you propose an improvement using SD cards instead of printing datagrams on paper. This may be quite an improvement!@paoloredaelli@mastodon.uno indeed, and this kind of sneakernet is just what @vagrantc@floss.social had in mind, I think!

@ariadne@social.treehouse.systems a number of questions, but here's one: why are DMs in Loops using unencrypted Notes (like Mastodon, NodeBB, etc.)?
Dan says he's been working on supporting E2EE (with alignment from @benpate@mastodon.social), asking for funding to get the work across the finish line.
Was also asked why 720p, and when that can be improved. Dan indicates in the positive.
