@thetonearm So much of popular culture which was tied to telephony is vanishing. For no particular reason that reminds of the phone number that women could give insistent men they didn't like. Callers heard an explanatory recording. Nowadays I just tell men that they can find me on Facebook.

@WildRover @Ernstundfreun_de Ich auch nutze K9 auf Handy. Auf PC abonnierte seit langem Kolabnow, dass in der Schweiz unterwegs ist. Tatsächlich hat Kolabnow gar keinen Spam-Filter und ist manchmal ein bischen langsam. Trotzdem bin ich zufrieden, weil das Programm Open Source ist.

@akkana Once I convinced a group of camping-fearful friends that sleeping on a "floating campsite" on Lake Oroville would be safe. I was first awake in the morning and that a ginormous black thunderhead was an hour away. I woke everyone up and told them that we had half an hour to get to shore. Sure enough, a violent hail and lightning storm let loose. So much for introducing them to camping.

@AlienJay In the US most states have an "open container" prohibition regarding alcohol. Last I heard, California was trying to decide what "open container" might mean for cannabis.
