@itsfoss Linux Mint or Linux Mint Debian edition. I like Fedora with KDE, but it is a heavier combination and many of my computers are older. Mint works on a wide range of PCs.

@edavies @iFixit I have no idea about the percentage of BMWs that are leased, but I would not be surprised if you are right.

@iFixit BMW has been a poor choice for many years unless you just plan on leasing it. With their extensive use of plastics, which degrade over time, these vehicles become endless money pits as they age.

@fesshole I don't answer the phone unless I know the phone number. Years ago when it was humans that called, if they asked if I was the homeowner I would answer "I am a warm ham sandwich". That pretty much ended all calls.
