@kcarruthers Interesting! I knew there were previous studies linking poor oral health with cardiovascular disease, but the link to other inflammatory diseases makes sense.

very interesting: Maintaining good oral hygiene isnβt only important for your teeth, but is also integral to the prevention of diseases like #dementia new research reveals. -
At sunset, when your deaf pup tracks an airplane overhead from the way the light shimmers & changes along the surfaces@kellyromanych Such a beautiful puppy!

Evening, Toots!Evening, Toots! Somehow today was busier than I expected. I had to pop in to the local Art Shop for a couple of sketch books: one to take with me on my #caitycanberravisit , (more details soon!) and one for the portraiture from life classes I'm about to take part in on a Friday afternoon. And I also picked up a tube of paint.
Then off to the Dietitian: managing ok.
And from there to my weekly Artists Books and Fibre Arts group. Had some good chats, but because I arrived late, didn't get any actual work done during group time today - and that's ok, too. Welcomed two new members after the Open Day on Sunday, so that was lovely to see so quickly!
It's been hot and very humidity here today, with no rain in sight until Friday. Currently 31C in my room, and 81% humidity at 740pm, yuk.

I've always wanted to make a quilt honoring the lives lost in the Triangle Shirtwaist fire, but I could never have done anything as good as what Helen Geglio has done here.@inarticulatequilter I loved seeing this quilt, but I still think if a story moves you - make art about it. Every piece enriches the story.
