The first year we were together, we looked at the reduced and overpriced menus for restaurants for Valentine’s Day, decided we hated the ludicrous commercial holiday, and stayed at home and ate fondu, on the basis that cheese is usually the right answer.@david_chisnall I have a great one for swiss fondue that my mother wheedled out of a dear swiss friend even though it was theoretically a family secret. I think Mom plied her friend with Kirsch.
