@pixiepippi I like dogs too but this (owner) behaviour really winds me up. Their dog may be a big softie that just wants to be friends but you don’t know that when it’s galloping towards you (nor does livestock).
It’s much the same as children. Parents/owners think they’re adorable, therefore so must everyone else. Grump grump.
@fkamiah17 yes this winter has been tough. I think this was a very brief sunny interlude but so welcome.

@fkamiah17 I’ve no idea! They stayed like it for several minutes then flew off shouting.
I leant over to pick up a pot and found myself face to face with a nuthatch, clinging to a tiny bay tree. I even managed to get a pic on my phone. Not sure what they were up to, admiring the newly clean glass of the greenhouse maybe.
Soooo good to have blue skies and sunshine. It’s a beautiful frosty morning and blossom is blossoming

@moonrabbit making the crosses was good. Rush was easier than willow! It was dry but very wimdy and I had a bit of a bumpy night. That probably hasn’t helped matters. Dry and wimdy today in fact.
Hurrah for getting the Pia washing done. She’s completely ignorant of the chaos caused.

I’ve been a bit low today. Feeling sorry for myself. I’m sure it’ll pass. Maybe just a Monday-Tuesday thing. Had a nice evening yesterday though, messing about with willow and rush (made st brigid’s crosses).

@moonrabbit I think that’s the first time I’ve seen them side by side. Kitten is a big floof!
@KimberlyN that sounds like a great idea. We need winter colour!
@dillyd aren’t they. This one is in my sight line when I’m standing at the hob so no idea how I missed it before. I can’t think it wouldn’t have flowered. The other one I bought is orange (will take a pic) but I’ve put it in the wrong place so I’ll relocate it. They provide a splash of colour at an otherwise grey time.
I don’t know how I didn’t see this last winter but there’s a lovely witch hazel in the garden. I bought one last spring thinking the garden needed one. It can always use another though. The flowers remind me of fireworks bursting.
@dillyd that will keep a small dog contained!
@IcooIey here it’s just wet, wet, wet and wet! There are rumours that tomorrow will be drier but we will see.
So no thaw there?
