@Taweret the all-timer for me was Thunderbirds, which I saw now and then as a very little kid and completely erased from my memory until I saw the Dire Straits "Calling Elvis" video years later and had a small private freakout

what's a TV show you watched as a kid that you're pretty sure you hallucinated@apLundell @Taweret I forget which regional UHF station it was ran a bunch of those on Sunday mornings and it was always such a disappointment compared to the a-list Saturday morning cartoons
Not Hanna-Barbera but they also ran Barbapapas, whose existence I definitely questioned as an adult until I got internet confirmation https://youtu.be/4iyYYsjSA6k

what's a TV show you watched as a kid that you're pretty sure you hallucinated@Unlikelylass @Taweret I know I didn't hallucinate it because my entire class was traumatized by it: there was a PBS show called "All About You" and in one episode the host demonstrated how digestion works by putting a hamburger and a milkshake into a blender

what's a TV show you watched as a kid that you're pretty sure you hallucinated@Unlikelylass @Taweret ohh that sounds like a sibling show to "Read All About It", which as best I can recall was about kids whose dad was missing and they find a key to his office which contains an interdimensional typewriter or some such, and there's a bad guy out to get them (maybe the same show? I don't remember a space station but we only watched it in school and I don't think we saw the whole thing)
the dad of one of my classmates looked just like the evil interdimensional bad guy and that was messed up

what's a TV show you watched as a kid that you're pretty sure you hallucinated@Taweret @Mrfunkedude it was still on in reruns when I was a little kid and I never quite knew what to make of it, like, "I guess this was made for someone but I don't think it was me"
