I have to say that never ever did I expect an NFL halftime show to fill me with hope.
And yet, here we are, several days later, and yeah, still hopeful.

Hey #fiberArts, #sewing, and @crafters Do any of you make and sell messenger bags? Or perhaps knows someone who does? Extra points for expertise in designing bags for those with mobility issues.
Please feel free to boost if you think someone in your part of the galaxy could help.
Thanks!
@Cognissart This is so beautiful. I've really fallen in love with embroidery with this painterly look!
@Jonobie! Look at the snow!!!
Alert the media: my health insurance actually approved an MRI of my spine!
I know, I had to read the email three times too. It was originally scheduled last week but got put on hold while insurance "reviewed my case" — which in my experience is code for "we're hoping you forget about it."
Plot twist: I did not forget. And they said yes. Miracles are real, people.
Woke up this morning. Toyed with the idea of a morning shower, but instead I rewatched Bad Bunny's halftime show, and now I'm ready for the day!
Puppy Bowl at our house this afternoon!
I am really, really happy that's it's Friday!
It was still really, really hard to get out of bed this morning.
When I first saw the news reports about knitting the Melt the Ice hat, I immediately ordered red yarn.
But between the snow/sleet/ice storm and shipping delays, I'm terrified that I won't get the red yarn before another cataclysmic event happens and the entire fiber community moves on to knitting green scarves in solidarity with *whatever* and I'll be that old man in the corner madly trying to finish my red hat.
The last time we had a big storm, we also had a big dog.
This is the Snowmageddon storm from 2010, and this was our beloved Jampa, a Tibetan Mastiff puppy at the time, who passed in 2019.
