@noodlemaz @Quasit no, you need to apologize for calling people dead whose whereabouts we don't know. It's extremely irresponsible, and disrespectful to the families involved

@feznander I'm not in the US so I'm only referring to what I see on social media. I am glad people are saying it in IRL! I probably should have phrased it differently

@Quasit ICE has killed some people but far more are the people whose lives they have ruined, but there's still a chance to make things right in the future. A deportation is not death, and a lot of people are talking about them like they're dead, they're not! There's still an opportunity to do right by them!

ICE needs to be abolished, yes, and ideally its agents should be punished, but I haven't seen anyone bring up something even more important, which is the reparation of the harm done, with an emphasis on family reunification
