Was going through some of the #fosdem talks and noticed one on something called #JMAP maintained by #fastmail mainly for managing/syncing contacts and calendars.@Luigi311 there's nothing "massive" you'd need for self-hosting #NextCloud Any entry level web hosting package that includes PHP would suffice.
