I'm looking for people who moved to a different country past the age of 45 and found a job there (so not "my company had a branch there and I was transferred" but "I would like to move there and need to find a way") to share their story with me.Only for 6 months but I got a job in Geneva on secondment in my 40s.
And I barely spoke any French when I arrived. I loved it.Would have loved to retire abroad but needed full medical coverage for existing conditions.

Reminder that in the UK in 1900, before mass vaccination for childhood diseases began, 20% of all babies died before their fifth birthday (from diseases we currently vaccinate them against).At which point any country with sensible leaders will require vaccinations with visas for anyone from the USA.
I think my sister still has her copy of a lengthy document proving she didn't have a long list of conditions/infections before we briefly entered the USA in the early 1950s.

UK PEOPLE: this is REALLY IMPORTANT.And of course, while inconveniencing or worse ordinary people, it won't stop a determined teenager.
Same with physical ID, the ones they want to stop get around the new rules but people in general get more problems upon problems.
