A short #MedMastodon update@wild1145@mastodonapp.uk sorry to hear about these issues. That absolutely sucks, because Masto host is quite expensive due to ballooning S3 costs.
(This isn't an indictment of the owner of Mastohost itself, just how the costs happen to shake out.)
It sounds like you figured out a solution for your own hosted sites, so hopefully the domain will transfer over soon.
If not, and you decide to sunset, postcall.pub is here to provide a medicine focused soft landing.

I am learning now that @noodlemaz@mstdn.games is in talks to potentially recover the old Mastodon instance, which would also be a good ending to this week.

What categories would you like to see?Right now, we only have a single category, "General Medicine". It is a catch-all category and automatically pulls in content from the fediverse that uses the #medicine hashtag.
What other categories would you like to see created? Let me know here
