Is it more science fiction like Warehouse 13 or more horror like, well, Friday the 13th? Warehouse 13 is one is my favorite shows so I'm certainly interested but I don't do well with horror or horror adjacent.

@bobkmertz @GayDeceiver From my memory it was more paranormal themed than science fiction - two cousins inherit an antique shop full of cursed artifacts and have to recover ones that had been sold on. Nothing that wasn't suitable for syndication on a weekend afternoon. No relation to the film series.

Sounds like something I might like. I'll see if I can find it sometime.

Are we sure Antiques Roadshow isn't a division of Warehouse 13??

"Most of it's junk, but we found 2 cursed mirrors and 1 enchanted key. Gave 'em offers they couldn't refuse."

@GayDeceiver Well, indeed your ordinary gold ring is quite extraordinary. If we hold it in this fire here, you will see some faint script revealed which is in fact the sign of the maker, the Dark Lord Sauron. As far as value goes, at auction I would conservatively estimate about $1 million and I'd insure it for $1.5 to $2 million. Of course, it's real value is to dominate the lesser rings and their owners, so it's priceless. Thanks for bringing it.

@galacticstone @GayDeceiver I could never sell it, it has such sentimental value. It's so precious to me.

@GayDeceiver what a fascinating history this object has. Just for insurance purposes... please check your policy covers the full family for mental health problems and check there's no exemptions for familial homicide in case the pattern holds for a fourth time.

@GayDeceiver There was a mission in Orpheus (White Wolf RPG, early 2000s) for that. Extremely cool stuff. I really enjoyed playing the campaign a second time after about 20 years with the same storyteller.
