We bought into F35 a long time ago, then we got the first batch, then we all got Trump. Then Denmark lost its mind and bought even more F35's. Our politicians are living in lala land. -

I'm willing to bet you could make a lot of drones for the cost of one of these. Seems like Ukraine is currently showing the world what war looks like in the coming decades and a fleet of complex, expensive, high-maintenance airplanes ain't it.

@elasticsoul If an AA (Authoritarian Asshole) demands that you do something, that's a good indicator that you shouldn't do it.
Maybe even do the exact opposite, if it seems appropriate. Use your best judgement (they certainly don't).

@Ravonges @elasticsoul Nonetheless, modern military aircraft need dozens to hundreds of hours maintenance for each hour's flight time, which does make one wonder whether they're primarily designed to maximise profit in the support industry.

@tehstu @elasticsoul This raises a very interesting question about Right to Repair issues concerning a potential threat to our sovereignty. I recommend a low level flyover to gather more information. This is a very basic manoeuvre in flight training.
