@ascentale @bikenite A1. Posting from the Front Range of Northern Colorado. I feel really lucky compared to all of you who are snow bound and in frigid temperatures. I got my first 2 rides of the year in this week- sunny and 65Β°F/18Β°C. Even saw some flying insects. It does feel strangely nice, but we do need rain/ snow. #bikeNite

Today, I ordered new wheels for the rebuild of my old bike. Should be a fun project, but it would be cheaper to just get a new bike. However for nostalgia reasons Iβm keeping this one around. #BikeNite
@ascentale @bikenite @rand Yeah! It again will be a crazy long night over here in Germany. Although I wished the Niners would make it. Anyway.
I hardly missed any of the latest maybe 30 Superbowls, although I know I will see my bed not before 5 am in the night.

The weather has been pretty bad much of the week (though getting noticeably warmer) with a lot of heavy rain. That meant I could not take the bicycle down to the LBS to get the head tube looked at. It wobbles a bit too much for my taste.

Posting from the βburbs of Minneapolis.
Been doing biz with a mobile repair shop (JV Bike Repair, for those in the Minneapolis area), getting my bikes ready for riding. I rotate 5 bikes (4 acoustic; 1 ebike).
Latest project is a rear wheel rebuild for a Priority Current ebike. They under-engineered the wheel & itβs been shredding spokes since I bought it, so itβs mostly been confined to the stable. Hope the rebuild solves it. #bikenite

)@xtaran @ascentale @bikenite I am indeed! Whilst born in the UK, my favourite cycling jerseys are the national jerseys of the Netherlands (plenty of orange) and Belgium (not so orange!).
I have no real like or dislike of the UCI but I do love most types of cycle sport.

@ascentale @bikenite A1: joining late after a busy evening here in the Hudson Valley, with deep snow everywhere and Sunday morning weβre supposed to get windchills of -30ΛF.
Did anyone else catch the livestream this morning by @pekkatahkola in Oulu, Finland? He was riding on a groomed bike path, using his phone to both film and communicate (how does anyone DO that?)
It was inspiring to see the wide bike paths, separate (also groomed) ski trails, easy access to main bldgsβ¦

Lost interest when he was kicked out. Brock Purdy has made the team fun again. But I hardly ever watch a game anymore.

@rand Shanahan does a good job from my perspective from far. Unfortunately the Niners suffer way too many injuries this season. Respect that they even came so far. Purdy, CMC, Jannings and the team spirit saved the season.
I am waiting to see Aiyuk, Kittle, Bosa back again! -

@rand I guess there is an eternal West Coast rivalry, but I don't want the Patriots to win another title. I'm looking forward to seeing some solid defenses and hope to see some crazy plays of the offensives. Let's see who makes the most mistakes: Darnold or Maye.
