The Extroverts of Bellhaven could not help but congregate over near the collection of Herders from Rutile, seeing that something in their side of The Veil had generated some particular excitement. Sure enough, the lone plant amid the desolate riverbank, visible through the haze of The Veil, was comprehensible to the Extroverts as well. But only as a sight.None attempted interacting with it though, it did not seem physically material in their side of The Veil - but no one was bold enough to test that supposition. On their own side of The Veil there was nothing in the spot except the glassy masses of fiber protruding up from between the smooth stone slabs as The Caravan skirted what was the barren energy harvesting planes in their existence. Any place where the joint work was not as precise - whether by flaw of craft or erosion of time - the glass threads would well up and become wind whipped and sculpted into chaotic translucent masses. It did however prompt further discussion among the Extroverts. The little plant inspired several in their group to contemplate: what if it *was* possible to forge an existence out in such wastes? If you absolutely had to, could you innovate some kind of solutions, where before none had been forced to contemplate or try? Could they be like the little plant somehow? If they could, it vastly expanded their opportunities to explore. These theories and daydreams provided ample discussions to occupy their thoughts for a while, which was a welcome diversion from worrying.#OEDS3 #OurEscapeDeets #solarpunkfiction
