@cstross Just to be clear here, I think websites and apps just autoplaying content is not just an annoyance. It's an issue of consent. I want to be able to actively decide see which content I see and hear, and which content I don't. I should not be subjected to content I don't want to see or hear without me explicitly choosing (and with that, consenting) to do so.

I'll make the URL unclickable so someone has to copy paste it if they want to see it. Surround it with backticks if your software supports markdown. Put a space in the URL. Something so only those who actually choose to see things that may haunt dreams see it.
