Another encounter with the lovely American medical system, been at the pharmacy for an hour or so now waiting for my medications. Found out my doctor's office doesn't respond to pharmacy requests for refill and instead I have to call them directly. Despite the fact that the meds I am on are dangerous to suddenly go off of, they seem to not really care what happens to me if I inconvenience their day at all. Their whole reason for not responding to pharmacy refill requests is that it takes too much time. They get too many calls.
