@ai6yr I think that's part of the joke - the exaggeration. He's got ones like this for his infectious disease character, the dermatologist, the orthopedist...

Although, honestly, with the cost of US healthcare I think 40's probably not a bad time to get someone younger, abler and more limber to do things...preferably having learned their martial arts falls as well.

@ai6yr @meganL I admit though I'm horrified by "over 40" as a concept. This was considered the PRIME; I remember posts about how guys didn't stop being newbie twigs 'til 35, and being at their best from there til 55 or so, and not even middle aged til after that. Let alone old. Old was like, 70s. And it changed sharply RIGHT when post-covid became normalized as "just aging."
