Below are two arguments against relying on natural immunity to fight horrible diseases. You will seldom see these arguments from medical professionals, because they are LOGICAL arguments, not arguments FROM AUTHORITY or FROM STATISTICS.

    1. Natural immunity arises from natural selection. THEREFORE IT HAS NO GOAL OF PROTECTING AN INDIVIDUAL FROM DISEASE. It is merely a set of traits that has prevented population extirpation.

    2. Natural immunity HAS NOT ELIMINATED THE DISEASES.

Point (1) is especially interesting, in that it contradicts what doctors usually seem to believe. But it is 100% true and in fact is obviously true.

There is no way in hell that your natural immunity can have the goal of protecting you from disease. It is merely a set of traits you have that has tended to prevent populations of humans from being extirpated.

This is important. It means in any measles outbreak allowed to run its course SOME children will be killed.

Point (2) is what then arises. The population DOES NOT grow stronger from exposure to measles. If it did, there would by now obviously be no such thing as measles! So it cannot be the case.

That is logical thinking. I know there are a lot of people around who mouth the words β€˜critical thinking’ but they are merely mouthing a slogan. I am talking about LOGICAL thinking, or PLAUSIBLE INFERENCE. It is a skill not taught in our universities.
