An anaesthetist used AI to review medical journals and was able to hypothesise that a drug for Parkinson's Disease had caused vitamin B6 deficiency in his dying mother.
After the vitamin was administered, his mother began to recover.
Further study needed to confirm cause and effect, and rule out coincidence.
