I have *tried* to understand RFK's perspective and more than any of these people nothing he does even makes much sense. There is a theme of cutting support for the general public. A kind of DIY (DIE) health care theme.
But, he seems to really think he's doing something coherent and I can't make any sense of it.
The interpretation I've read (which makes sense, but I have no idea if it's actually true) is that he believes in culling the herd.

@futurebird I can't help but think he's of those folk so confident that they are one of the select few who are 'saved', and who actively work to bring about the end so they'll be raptured.

I think Revelations completely glossed over the 5th rider - Stupidity.
He had saddled up a donkey, mistaking it for a horse, and then he got lost on his way to the apocalypse. But he’s here now, inspiring our new government and the entire cabinet.
They left him out because they were too embarrassed to admit that he was the most powerful....

This is what, in math, I would call an "unmotivated algorithm" it models the situation but fails to provide any insight into why it is happening.

@futurebird I'm not entirely sure, but grifting (selling "wellness" products), an unacknowledged belief in eugenics, the idea that public health is more about individual choices and responsibility than group efforts and responsibility to the whole, and an overdeveloped skepticism of existing science that partially derives from the former traits.
At least, that seems to explain a lot of his behavior to me. Basically, a wholly unqualified person for the authority and responsibilities he's been given.
I often think RFK is the most dangerous of the bunch.

I'm am certain there are people with dozens of brain worms who are still caring people though.
Did the worm eat his capacity for understanding that other people are also people? What part of the brain is that?

The typical things that we think of as "unintelligent" such as not knowing big words, or not understanding complex algorithms don't really stand out that much to me.
I'm a short person and I need a step stool to reach a high shelf. Some people need that if they are dealing with a complex task.
What brings out my disgust is these dudes who are basically short, but say "Oh I can reach the top shelf" and they just *can't.* Then there is emergency and everything breaks.

The Behind the Bastards episodes about him help explain some of it, but it still doesn't make sense. Ultimately it was his choice to be arrogant about medical science and it wasn't a rational choice.
