    While everyone is different, this might be a good read.

    I am not sure that they isolated things such as stimulant use (caffeine, nicotine, etc) or exercise or... but in the broad strokes, it makes sense to *me* anecdotally.

      @knowprose I'm not knocking scientists, the article, or people who know more than myself, but I smoke, drink copious amounts of caffeine, am overweight, and have the sleeping ability of an insomniac. My last full medical declared me in perfect health. Go figure.

      Like you said, everyone's different -- or alien in my case.

        @autistic_writer yup. Last year I had a heart attack. The doctors are adamant I get a triple bypass. I feel fine. I skip into my cardiologist's office to annoy him. It works.

        So I decided no bypass.

        I changed diet after the heart attack, and insomnia I had before became a no negotiation sleep early and long pattern.

        So I don't know. It's worth considering.
