@MatthewNewell @ascentale @bikenite I watched all of the races on Sunday and two on Saturday in the windmill arena. The photo I posted was taken during a course recce on Saturday morning.

@xtaran @ascentale @bikenite I am indeed! Whilst born in the UK, my favourite cycling jerseys are the national jerseys of the Netherlands (plenty of orange) and Belgium (not so orange!).

I have no real like or dislike of the UCI but I do love most types of cycle sport.

Q8. This week I experienced a beautiful, spring-like day at the Cyclo-Cross World Championships in Hulst, the Netherlands Day two was less spring-like but it didn't affect an amazing weekend.

I saw lots of friends and met someone new I had previously only known through Mastodon

A5. I call myself a cyclist.

When referring to others, I prefer 'a person on a bike' which I find less tribal and emphasises it's just a choice of transport. Especially if the conversation is tending to treat everyone that rides a bike as being the same.
