@cascadepine Being a bald eagle it probably spotted a dead thing to eat nearby. Also l, that is just "I see something worth a second look" posture.

Very unnerving to see a huge eagle right above you suddenly go into predator mode and lean way forward. -
#SilentSunday@sheepnik "Do you have a shiny?"

And our last question of the week:@ascentale @bikenite A8. For reference it is Girl Scout Cookie season and my kid is a Girl Scout and my wife is the Troop leader and Cookie Manager and my house is full of cookies for the troop.
Here is one pile, the Thin Mints are in a pile almost as big by themselves.
If you want a link to buy cookies from our troop, just ask.

@realSiegfried and @MarkBrigham mentioned a question by @Trailanderror@ascentale @realSiegfried @MarkBrigham @Trailanderror @bikenite A5. I like the person first nature of person on a bike, but that's mouthful.
So, I'm a rider.

Welcome to #BikeNite on Friday, February 6th.@ascentale A1. My bed, because bed.
None of my bikes have anything new but I am considering a new small rack bag to carry tools and things since a big/normal sized bag get kicked on my short framed Trek. The 2 under consideration are these.

Critiques of AI are valid; but many climate-based arguments reveal our bias toward small individual actions over real systemic change.@katharinehayhoe.com
I did read first and there is some interesting stuff there though most is not LLM.I agree real systemic change is needed. And we also need to realize that your query output is going to have a variable energy cost. Are we outputting text, audio, video, etc. Are we making a movie or a LLM driven character? And how much penetration and usage do LLMs have compared to Netflix?
So the change will have to be at the data center side, not industry.
