@Erdrandbewohner@social.tchncs.de Ich spiele gerne, mit großem "aber". Es dauert ewig, bis ich mich für ein neues Spiel erwärmen kann. Dann wird es aber mit gusto und Hyperfokus in alle Ecken erforscht, speziell wenn es ein storyreiches Spiel mit relevanten Entscheidungen und guten Charakteren ist.

Manche dieser Spiele - einzelne Charaktere, Schlüsselszenen - steigen in den Status eines persönlichen "Touchstone Mediums" auf, das für mich eine Referenz für eine komplexe Gefühlslage abbildet, die ich im Spiel für mich einmal komplett durchanalysiert habe, und das als Grundlage für eine undurchsichtige, marmorierte Gefühlslage in der realen Welt verwenden kann.

@KatyElphinstone@mas.to There is something to the blame vs responsibility view. The question was put to "high functioning" autistics, meaning that those were pretty good at masking, and anticipating the social discourse. The general experience and script is, the victim will be blamed .
That's how we get through life, by correctly anticipating what realistic reactions will be. From my experience, NT people react pretty badly when I apply my masking prediction scripts to hypothetical, isolated scenarios, because they think that society isn't like that. And suddenly we're painted "deficient", because our experience based scripting reflects a pretty awful picture of society instead of the lip service expected in hypothetical, artificial scenarios.

Do we want both to go away, sure, we do, because they are not comfortable states of being in. Can we just numb it, why, yes, to varying degrees. Is it better to deal with the root cause, if we can, absolutely.
Also, both can make you an absolute bitch to deal with.
