@Wen Some clear talking.Speaking from the Netherlands and my own growing up and the education I got and the major programming I watched in movies and on TV, I can only say that I was continuously led to believe that the USA was the shining city on the hill of democracy and lliberty and nothing was better than US scientists and companies.It's not hard to understand that a lot of people struggle with coming to terms with the reality of a declining and grasping empire.
