you talk boring stupid lying geopolitics crap and not once do you consider the wants and desires of the people themselves living in those countries. do you think they are incapable of revolting? do you think revolutions never existed in human history and then suddenly the CIA invented the concept in 2011 with magic mind control buttons?
why are you so dumb?
-
@benroyce @randahl yes, Ukraine did. In the Donbass since 2014. In Odessa https://www.peoplesworld.org/article/the-odessa-trade-union-massacre-ten-years-later/
And this is why you live in the Teletubbies world. Say hi to Dinwy Winky from me.
PD: and no, I don't believe the Kremlin. But I know our enemy is not them, but the ones across the ocean.

you are a lying vatnik, or you are a moron who believe kremlin lies with zero thought going on in that walnut sized cranium of yours

-
do you know what a coup d'etat is?
do you think the great mass of people on the street, a revolution, is a coup d'etat?
do you think at all about how fucking stupid you sound and how weak and hilarious your dumb lies are?
or does the taste of putin's boot in your mouth as you lick it so tenderly is just that appealing to you, you stupid liar

"and yes, the usa across the ocean fucking sucks. and? what does that have to do with russia invading ukraine for mass murdering imperialism? you like imperialism, dimwit?"
Nothing, it has NOTHING to do.

Ok, go back to read fantasy tales of good and bad. I won't bother to answer you anymore. It's like talking to a 5 year old kid.

@randahl Alright. Let's just attack Russia and hope we don't see 5.000 nukes falling from the sky. That sounds like an amazing idea.
Actually, why don't we just end ourselves and spare the Russians the trouble.
@Ravonges @randahl βIt is not for honours, riches, or glory that we fight, but for freedom and freedom alone, which no true man surrenders but with life itselfβ
σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ Iβd rather be dead than have Putin have any say in how things are outside Russia. He started invading a peaceful country and he can fuck right off!

@randahl the Vatnik/Tankies usually retort: "if you want war, then pack and join the front lines" π€¬
Usually I answer that "if we don't use our armies, then we can simply dismantle them"
I noticed in France, many people are fine sending the army meddling in Africa, yet when it comes to Russia... crickets.
@FrancoisPrague @randahl in the ten years I lived in France, I noticed the colonial mindset is still bubbling under the surface.

When the war in Ukraine broke out, and Europe was hesitant in the first year, I thought alright, this is a surprise to everyone and of course we need time to prepare.
Now 4 years have passed, and we are 450 million EU and 69 million UK citizens still standing on the sidelines, telling 38 million Ukrainians they should fight 133 million Russians on their own.
We could end this war. Instead we keep pretending that it is fine to let Ukraine take all the punches.
I find that profoundly shameful.
@randahl maybe because you are old enough to not go to the frontline. What about the young population? Are you ready to kill hundreds of thousands of us?
Another reason is not going to war to defend a continent that sucks up to trump, and still trades with Russia through other countries. Hypocrisy.
Maybe you can say that anyway they will strike us. A situation VERY different than escalating the war by having 20 something countries declaring war at russia. 1/2

@randahl yes, they are agressors, and criminals, but more coffins is not the answer.

@randahl
At least the demand of weapons should've been answered appropriately at the very start.
EU always proclaims being a union of countries, not only for the economy. A "misconception", rather say propaganda, if you ask me.
Now that the USA is lost as the "big Brother" taking the lead (conveniently) the truth is revealed.
Worse than that nowadays the states are rather a helper for russia - mind even with bases inside the EU.
*Nobody* wants a war *at home*. So does Ukraine. -

@randahl Europe could bring Russia to its knees without firing a shot:
1οΈβ£ Total economic isolation β real sanctions, no loopholes
2οΈβ£ Seize frozen Russian assets and give them to Ukraine
3οΈβ£ Full diplomatic and institutional isolationEurope doesnβt lack power. It lacks political will.

@luckychronic @randahl
*Nobody* wants a war, except powergreedy old men - and the military industry.
Actually we all are already in a (multiple fronts) war, just not so visible and we here in middle(!) of europe are not directly, visible affected - yet.
#project2025 is killing 100Ks globally already #cuts
Most govs trying to "scale" back achievements - killing nonwealthy people.. #Lobby #classwarWe, the people in all countries, have to *act* on multiple fronts.
We all (will) suffer anyway. -

"Willing countries" of #NATO need to be doing two things right now:
1) putting troops at Ukrainian energy site as human shields against Russian attacks
2) putting air power in Ukraine and directly providing air defence for the country away from the front lines.
Both are totally defensive measures that protect civilians, defend against war crimes and help Ukraine focus on fighting back.

@benroyce As an EU citizen, I don't want to end us. I fully support my own survival, and the survival of my fellow humans.
My point is, it's a fucking idiot move, to attack the biggest nuclear power, especially when they have threatened to fire their 5000 dirty bombs, if we do.
Play smart, not hard.

@randahl Peple like you think it won't go nuclear despite it absolutely being a possibility. War doesnt de-escalate unless cool heads prevail and you are pushing for escalation and annihilation.
-
@benroyce @randahl I don't think you're able to see how the world works due to ypur limited capacity, but a friendly Egypt government was needed by Israel - USA proxy agent in the region, as we've repeteadly seen -, while Ukraine was used by the same powers to push Russia far from Europe, where they had been taking relevant trading presence.
It's not about supporting Russia or Ukraine, it's about severing ties completely with the world's biggest fascist power nowadays that, yes, is able to give coup d'etats wherever they want and destroy countries and people's lives at will: USA.
Egypt WAS on very good terms with Israel since Sadat right up to Arab Spring. Current Egyptian government that replaced the Muslim Brotherhood keeps rather cold relations with Israel but since both parties have the common enemy, ie Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas, they cooperate.
Yanukovych went so far up the Muscovite bum that his own party disowned him. And if you think all the people on the Maidan were on the CIA payroll then you're more divorced with the reality than the average vatnik.
The full scale war started because Zelensky in his naivety tried to compromise with the Muscovy and they took it as a sign of weakness.

no one is attacking russia. russia is attacking ukraine. "play smart" indeed
if the eu sent troops to relieve non front line activity that would allow ukraine to focus on repelling russian troops
if you find that provocative, recall russia already called in north korean troops
if russia goes "we'll nuke you" also recall russia has already threatened to nuke europe over every little fucking thing. they are full of shit
stop being a whiny weak coward and submitting to russia's lies

@randahl Four years? Try twelve! The war began in February 2014. Has everyone forgotten the first eight years of it?

@randahl thank heavens no country sent F16s or Chiftan tanks or Jaelin anti tank missiles - used by Ukraine right at the start of the invasion and stopped it in its tracks. And nobody sent air defence systems of course or artillery ammunition.
