@sherold Mastodon is particularly good for this - a lot of us here seem to be neurodivergent, so full of all kinds of fascinating information that might or might not ever be relevant. Also, lots of tech geeks, so any time I have a question, I know I can get answers here.

There are benefits to the layering introduced by ATproto (including nomadic identities and portable content), but they can be brought to the Fediverse without the centralization commanded by AT (see e.g. the nomadic protocol of Hubzilla and streams, or the Portable Objects FEP, see also <https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/nomadic-identity-for-the-fediverse/2101/96>)
