@ObsidianUrbex the firefighting gear is propably the most contaminated material that I'm aware of that is not in a sealed facility, long term depository or literally an orphaned source! Every video where someone got close to them had their geiger counters and dosimeters yell at them "GTFO NOW! DROP AND RUN!" - kind noises…Seriously, don't be like that idiot cooking himself at > 3,4mSv/h

@Natasha_Jay I checked Wikipedia and it says she was in the Tower for 2 months, which is why I edited my reply.

She stuck to her cover story and was released a few months after her arrest. She then successfully convinced the orphanage to return her baby to her, and went into hiding until liberation.She was awarded the Croix de Guerre by France. 2/2
