@gdinwiddie I went out for a walk a few weeks ago and saw one flowering plant that could have been a violet, and there were a few other non-dandelion flowering plants as well. I don't know how well they suit the local bees' needs.Bees around here have only become noticeably active in the last week or so, though there were a few sporadic sightings over the last month.
