@nomdeb Yeah, we pay my dad's condo association fee every month until they sell his unit, and we have no control over that. But they have a waiting list and it's a good floor plan, so hopefully that won't take too long.

@jeridansky I don't recall the circumstances of why I got a SPAMvertizement for this t-shirt, but I was a sucker and bought it. It was really cheap polyester. It's stashed under a "There's no place like 127.0.0.1" t-shirt.It took a while, but at 70, I finally relish saying "Get off my lawn"

@mvilain Thanks for helping your neighbor!My situation actually sounds easier than hers. Xfinity/Comcast took back the equipment while we were still in Florida. Today's dealings were trivial compared to what your neighbor went through. I just had to be insistent. Got his Verizon account closed easily today, too. No equipment to deal with there.
