      That's so funny. I've always been warned by doctors and dentists that my ability to feel physical pain seems significantly *diminished* compared to most people, especially with more extreme forms. I once broke my ankle in three places without even realizing I was injured. Another time I was told that if I'd waited an extra day to come in to the ER that my leg would have had to have been amputated. I only came in because it was looking kind of funny and felt a bit hot.
